July 1- Monday - A toy drive in July: Members of the Pelham Knights of Columbus are collecting new unwrapped toys for children at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. OLPH parishioners can select a gift tag with wished for items at the back of Church during the weekends of July 7th and 14th and drop off the gifts by July 21st.

July 2 - Tuesday - Pelhamites on the Dean's List: Katie Sciales at Miami University; Nicholas Clausen at St. Lawrence University; Riley A. Munson at Kenyon College; Aimee Spencer and Robyn McPherson, both at Monroe College. Michael Smith was named to Genesee Community College's Provost's List and Christopher R. Epes Jr., Chandler M. Solimine and Thomas S. Walsh were awarded Faculty Honors at Trinity College.

July 3 - Wednesday - Pelhamites graduating from colleges and universities: Samantha Resende earned a master's of science from Springfield College; Thomas J. Munson graduated from the Fisher School of Business of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor in Science; Paula Rollins graduated from UMass with a bachelor's degree in sociology; graduating senior Helen Driesen won the Pappoutsakis Award from the University of Vermont Department of Music and Dance at UVM's College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony.

July 5 - Friday - Parker Cornman of Pelham, a media and society major at Hobart College, was among seven members of the Hobart College rowing team who were among the 281 student-athletes named to the Intercollegiate Rowing Association All-Academic Team by the IRA Board of Stewards.

July 5 - Friday - St. Paul's National Historic Site in Mt Vernon Talk tomorrow, Saturday, July 6 at 1 PM: Part I of a talk titled, “President Harry Truman the Atomic Bomb and the End of the War against Japan,” by Raymond H. Geselbracht, Village Historian of Bronxville and formerly a Special Assistant for the Office of the Director of the Truman Presidential Museum and Library, in Independence, Missouri.
