Dear Pelham Neighbors,

We write today to encourage you to support Adam Kagan for re-election as a Pelham Village Trustee. We've known Adam since his days as a tee-ball and little league coach and have come to appreciate his active involvement as a member of the Board of Trustees. We know he has worked diligently during his current term to find ways to lower expenses while improving Village services.

Adam recently worked with the board to remedy a dangerous water drainage problem on NYAC Avenue. Thanks to the current board and Adam’s intercession, a serious winter icing condition has now been fixed and we appreciate that Adam kept us apprised of the progress along the way. He also worked with his colleagues on the board to install a children's adventure playground in Wolf's Lane Park and regularly updated our neighbors living near the proposed park; invited us to speak at the many hearings and kept us up to speed on the progress.

Adam has also been leading the work on Community Choice Aggregation, including the adoption of a new law to take part in a pilot program in New York State to purchase electricity as a community which is supposed to lower utility rates. We’d like to encourage Adam's re-election so he can build on his four years of Trustee experience to the benefit of all residents. He is a Trustee that welcomes contact and does not shy away from involving himself in all community matters.
