Cellist Claire Marie Solomon, Harpist Nancy Allen and Floutist Carol Wincenc

New York Philharmonic Principal harpist and Pelham resident Nancy Allen, flute soloist Carol Wincenc, and rising star cellist Claire Marie Solomon—known as The Gossamer Trio—will perform at The Manor Club next Tuesday, May 21st at 1:30 pm. The community is invited to attend.

The trio, which had its debut in August of 2017 in Marlborough, MA, has a repertoire ranging from Bach, Ravel, Villa Lobos and Persichetti to the 21st century. On Monday, the program will include a Pelham Manor premiere of a Folk Song Suite written by Pelham’s exceptional composer and pianist William Healy.

Both Allen and Wincenc and are faculty members of the Juilliard School and Stony Brook University. Solomon maintains private teaching studios in her home in Pelham and with Atelier Constantin Pompescu in Greenwich, and coaches the cellists of The Greenwich Young Artists Philharmonic. A Yale graduate, she won the Jacobs Music School Concerto Competition.

The May 21 performance is free to members of The Manor Club; $10 to non-members (program and tea).
