Pelham has its own bagpipe band, and it has a fundraiser scheduled tomorrow, Ssturday, September 7th.

The Pelham Regional Pipe Band (PRPB) was started this past January by two bagpipers affiliated with the Pelham School District and has grown quickly to include former pipers from Iona College and others. The Band is looking forward to its first St. Patrick's Day marching season in 2020.

To help fund the purchase of equipment and uniforms, PRPB is holding a "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day Party and Fundraiser" this coming Saturday, September 7, 2019, from 3pm to 10pm, at Hurley's Steakhouse & Pub, located at 15 Division Street in New Rochelle. There will be live music featuring popular local Celtic entertainers: Mary Courtney, the Tipperary Knights and of course, bagpipe tunes performed by the Pelham Regional Pipe Band. The fundraising party is open to the general public. Tee shirts and beer glasses with the PRPB logo will be available for sale. A suggested donation of $25 will make you a VIP Band Donor and entitle you to food and open bar at the party.

For anyone unable to attend, the Pelham Regional Pipe Band's fundraising page is:

PRPB is a 501(c)(3) charity and donations are tax deductible.
