A report on the Huguenot Church Service Trip to Mariana, Puero Rico from July 15-19 was the topic at the Rotary Club of the Pelhams luncheon meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Syd Thayer, a chaperone on the trip, made the presentation and showed a video prepared by students Soren Bushong and Jack Denison, who worked on repairing a house during the Mission Trip. Also attending the meeting was Rusty Pedersen of Crossing Thresholds, a Port Chester based international servic organization that sends volunteers to Puero Rico and Africa. Huguenot Church worked with Crossing Thresholds to coordinate the trip that included 17 students and 3 chaperones.
