Pelham Fire Chief James A. DiNapoli gave this 2018 Village of Pelham Fire Department Report for 2018 at the Village of Pelham Board of Trustees meeting Tuesday, Jan. 8.

388 Emergency Medical calls (4 NARCAN saves)

128 Motor vehicle accidents w/ injuries

68 Natural Gas Leaks

21 Mutual Aid to other communities

18 Structure Fires

2008 hours of in service Training/ 163 inspections not including operating permits.

He also said the new engine is at the mid-point with inspection scheduled during the first week of March, the final inspection in the second week of April and expected delivery around early May.

Reporting on the fire house building, he said emergency repairs were made to the boiler main water line but 2 other points could fail at any time. There is also a leak in front room that  is critical and the foundation also has leaks.

There are also active roof leaks still ongoing and sump pumps are burning out approximately in 3-4 months.
