The Foundations of Learning class at PMHS participated in the Thanksgiving-In-A-Box program—packing and delivering seven boxes.

The Thanksgiving-In-A-Box program involves collecting holiday food items for families in need in the area.

The Foundation students had help from several departments at PMHS. The Math, English, Science, Counseling, and Special Education Departments all donated a box each. The "Students in Need" fund, which is comprised of faculty and staff donations, also donated two boxes.

This project continues to grow each year. The students collected food for 1 box last year and 7 boxes this year. Tank yous to Syd Thayer and the managers of Manor Market, Alan and Carol Brodsky, for their help organizing the project.
