Three PMHS seniors—Peter Wei, Asher Lal and Lance Brady—were named National Merit Semifinalists.

They are among approximately 16,000 semifinalists from across the country and are among the top-scoring students on the PSAT/National Merit Qualifying Test.

“Congratulations to Lance, Asher and Peter on this incredible accomplishment,” said PMHS Principal Jeannine Clark. “Being named a National Merit Semifinalist is a tremendous honor and reflection of their intelligence and hard work, as well as the dedication of our incredible teachers.”

National Merit Semifinalists now have the option to submit an application to become a finalist, which if selected, makes them eligible for more than $31 million in National Merit Scholarship funding.
