Pelham Dragons U13 girls soccer joined the Fordham Women’s Soccer team for their in-division home opener against St. Bonaventure on Sunday, September 23 at Fordham University.

Pelham Dragons were on the field with the Fordham Women’s team for pre-game warmup, the team "tunnel” as starters were announced, and on the sidelines as “ball kids” during the game. Fordham went on to win the game 1-0.

Players and parents agreed it was an incredibly positive experience for these middle school girls.

Pelham Dragons players include Judith Brandler, Charlotte Buehrer, Victoria Celanti-Smith, Isabella Cross, Gabriella Kakavas, Eleanor Maiberger, Olivia Ness, Olivia Oguz, Madison Santana, Sofia Verlezza, Cararose Vitale, and Viviana Wright.

The visit was generously arranged by Fordham’s Associate Head Women's Soccer Coach, Shannon Neely Noel.

Photos are from "dad coaches" Tom Vitale and Todd Cross. Pelham Travel Soccer is led by Diana Gomprecht.
