October 7 - Monday - Rockwells Restaurant has introduced catering trays of breakfast —scrambled eggs, etc.—as well as salads, sliders, wraps, personal pizza and full meals. Visit for details.

Tuesday - October 8 - Starting December 11, Pelham Board of Education meetings will be held on Wednesdays. View the District Calendar at for all scheduled meetings and events. Changes to any scheduled event are updated, so it is best to check the calendar regularly.

October 9 - Wednesday - Sixty-two kindergartners signed up for their first Library cards on K-Day at the Town Library on Sept. 28. Of course, anyone in kindergarten or any grade in school or any adult who is a resident of the Town of Pelham can visit the Library and get a Library card, which not only opens the door to book check out but  a host of other services. Visit

October 10 - Thursday - Online registration closes at midnight tonight for this Saturday's Pelham Pumpkin Festival Kids' Fun Run that starts at 9:00am (Halloween costumes welcome). The cost is $15. The event is open to children 12 and under (parents or guardians may accompany the runner).  Registration also is possible at the event at 8:30am.

October 11 - Friday - Pelham Booster Club is selling dark blue blankets with a gold "P" for Pelham that are warm and soft for $60 each. People love them and they make a great gift for the holidays and/or graduation.For details, text Booster Club co-president Breda Bennett at 914-906-9328.
