The Town Board Tentative 2020 Budget projects a 4.345% tax levy increase, but the Town Board is working to reduce it closer to zero.

The Tentative Budget reflects the requests of all Town departments plus projections of salary and benefit increases for employees.

Town Supervisor Peter DiPaola said the goal is to work to bring the tax levy increase close to zero and definitely below the tax cap. The Town has had 4 years of virtual zero percent Town tax levy increases and 1 year with a 1.79% increase over the past five years.

A public hearing on the Tentative Budget is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 2 at 7:00pm at the Daronco Town House, at the regular meeting of the town Board.
