American actor, comedian, film director, and impersonator William Thomas Hader Jr. was born on June 7, 1978. Two of the eight Emmys he’s been nominated for are for his work as creator, producer, writer, director, and star of the HBO dark comedy series Barry (2018-present).
Career
Hader first gained widespread recognition for his eight-year career (2005-2013) on the popular NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, for which he was nominated for four Primetime Emmys and given the Peabody Award. He became well-known for his impressions and, in particular, his work on the Weekend Update segments, in which he played Stefon Meyers, a flamboyant New York tour guide who suggests odd nightclubs and parties frequented by peculiar people with peculiar preferences. Documentary Now! (2015–present), a mockumentary comedy series on IFC that he co-created with Fred Armisen and Seth Meyers, has him as both a star and a producer.

Bill Hader and Anna Kendrick
They played siblings in the 2019 holiday film Noelle, and they met on set. A source told Us Weekly exclusively in January 2022 that the celebrities didn’t start dating until “they were both singles at the same time.”
The Saturday Night Live alum was linked to Rachel Bilson one month after the film’s release; he and Bilson broke up in July 2020. Carey and the Saturday Night Live alum has three daughters: Hannah (born in 2009), Harper (born in 2012), and Hayley (born in 2014). The star of “Pitch Perfect” has been linked to such men as cinematographer “Ben Richardson,” actor “Jake Gyllenhaal,” and director “Edgar Wright.”
In January of 2022, the Us announced that Kendrick and Hader were dating. “They’re genuinely into each other and make each other laugh – a lot,” the source told Us.
Bill Hader and Anna Kendrick Split
According to Entertainment Tonight, Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader are no longer together. Just five months after E! News announced their romance, the “Twilight” star and the “Barry” actor split up. A source told E! in January that this had been going on for “quite some time,” but that Anna had been keeping it “very on the DL.” According to People, the couple had been together for a full calendar year at the time of the article’s publication.
So low-key was their romance that in March, when The Hollywood Reporter asked Hader, 44, about his relationship with Kendrick, 36, he refused to discuss it. Why did they choose to keep it a secret, exactly? The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member said it was for the benefit of his family, which includes his three children, ages 12 (Hannah), 9 (Harper), and 7 (Hayley).
They just want me to be their dad,” Hader, who has children with ex-wife Maggie Carey, told THR. “My family and friends want me to watch the movie “Encanto” continuously. Thus, I proceed in such manner.”
Hader filed for divorce from the director in December 2017, after the couple had been married since 2006. Hader reportedly asked for joint physical and legal custody of their children in court filings acquired by E! News at the time, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason.

Rachel Bilson mentioned her traumatic breakup with Hader
In a recent edition of her podcast “Broad Ideas,” told guest Mandy Moore, “I went through a really hard breakup and it was during the epidemic.”
