Leslie Jordan, Will & Grace Star and Viral Internet Celebrity, Died at The Age of 67!
Hollywood is in mourning over the death of Leslie Jordan, a veteran of television who won an Emmy. He played Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace, Sid on The Cool Kids, Lonnie Garr on Hearts Afire, and a number of characters on American Horror Story, for which he is best known.
After a car accident Monday morning, the actor’s representative confirmed his death to Page Six.
Authorities believe Jordan had a medical emergency while driving and crashed into a building.
Many of his former coworkers and friends expressed their sorrow and condolences after his passing. Emmy winner’s co-star on Will & Grace, Sean Hayes, paid tribute to him on social media.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Leslie Jordan became even more well-known thanks to the overwhelmingly positive reception of the Instagram videos in which he narrated his otherwise routine daily activities in his distinctively southern drawl.
From 5.8 million, he was able to grow his platform following thanks to the videos. In addition to being an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ rights, Jordan was a gay man.

Jordan Wins His First Emmy
In the 2000s, Jordan made guest appearances on Boston Public and then Boston Legal, and he arguably “broke out” as Megan Mullally’s arch nemesis Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace. He won his first Emmy for that part in 2006.
