Hollywood is in mourning over the death of Leslie Jordan, a veteran of television who won an Emmy. He played Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace, Sid on The Cool Kids, Lonnie Garr on Hearts Afire, and a number of characters on American Horror Story, for which he is best known.

After a car accident Monday morning, the actor’s representative confirmed his death to Page Six.

Authorities believe Jordan had a medical emergency while driving and crashed into a building.

In the 2000s, Jordan made guest appearances on Boston Public and then Boston Legal, and he arguably “broke out” as Megan Mullally’s arch nemesis Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace. He won his first Emmy for that part in 2006.
