Mickey Rourke Labels Tom Cruise “Irrelevant” in a Blistering New Interview
“Irrelevant” is how Mickey Rourke described Tom Cruise. Earlier today (July 11), during an interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored, Rourke made the remarks. When Morgan asked Rourke how it felt to see Cruise at the top of the box office charts with Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to 1986’s Top Gun, the actor for Rumble Fish responded, “That doesn’t mean sh** to me.”

Rourke attacked Marvel movies and the performers
Last year, Rourke attacked Marvel movies and the performers who portray them. In a May 2021 Instagram post, the Oscar nominee poked fun at Marvel while expressing a fresh admiration for Law & Order: SVU.
Rourke admitted that he started watching the enduring crime drama when he was in isolation. The former boxer continued by praising the actors on the show, adding that, in contrast to those in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, Stephanie March, BD Wong, and Ice T, do “genuine acting.”
Respect to all of you; the stuff you do is true acting, not the dreck that all the Marvel s*** is, he wrote.
