The best thing about the Star Trek Universe on Paramount+ is that even once a season of a particular program concludes, you won’t have to wait very long for fresh episodes of any of its numerous shows.

Consider the fact that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Season 1 finale aired on July 7 (it has since been renewed), yet Star Trek: Lower Decks’ Season 3 will now launch on Thursday, August 25, according to Paramount+. The weekly Thursday release of the half-hour animated comedy’s 10-episode season will begin. The streaming service also debuted the Season 3 key image, which you can see in its entirety below.

The U.S.S. Cerritos’s “lower decks” are home to the Starfleet crew Ensigns Beckett Mariner (voiced by Tawny Newsome), Brad Boiler (played by Jack Quaid), Tendi (voiced by Noel Wells), and Rutherford (voiced by Eugene Cordero). Freeman, Commander Jack Ransom (voiced by Jerry O’Connell), and Doctor T’Ana are among the Starfleet characters who make up the U.S.S. Cerritos’ bridge crew (voiced by Gillian Vigman).
