Anitta Before and After: She Discloses the Truth Regarding Her “Hundreds” of Plastic Procedures

Brazilian performer Larissa de Macedo Machado (born March 30, 1993), better known by her stage name Anitta, is a multi-talented artist who also dabbles in acting, entrepreneurship, dancing, and singing. After the release of her 2013 single “Show das Poderosas,” she gained widespread recognition.

Contract with Warner Music Brazil

She secured a recording contract with Warner Music Brazil in January 2013 following the financial success of her 2012 debut single, “Meiga e Abusada.” Her self-titled debut album came out in July of the same year, yielding four hit singles and earning platinum status in her native Brazil.

Ritmo Perfeito, her second studio album, was a commercial triumph in the country, and it was released alongside her debut live album, Meu Lugar, on the same day. Her third studio album, 2015’s Bang, was certified platinum and yielded the hit singles “Deixa Ele Sofrer,” “Bang,” “Essa Mina é Louca,” and “Cravo e Canela.” This record was pivotal in making her the undisputed queen of Brazilian pop music.

Before and After Images of Anita

In 2017, Anitta released the music video for her smash hit “Vai Malandra,” which catapulted her to feminist icon status. It showed people of varying body shapes and didn’t airbrush her cellulite, according to Nylon. The artist stressed that this was not done on purpose and that she simply lacked the financial resources to invest in cellulite removal technologies.

She’d get cellulite removal surgery if it existed. When asked about her cellulite, she stated, “I’ve done hundreds of plastic operations, but I couldn’t find one that took it away.”

“Women told me things like, “Now I feel confident to go to the beach because you are a sex symbol and you are so full of cellulite, and you don’t care.” This was after I had been in a music video in which I showed off my cellulite. And I really shouldn’t give a damn, either. I enthusiastically respond, “Yes!”

The Brazilian artist opened out about her extensive plastic surgery history, which included a rhinoplasty (a nose operation), jawline remodeling, and several breast reductions, among other procedures. She vowed, “I will not be acting in a way that I am not.”

Anitta seems to be standing for the principle that you should be proud of who you are, plastic surgery or not. “People’s urge to classify women as “This is a woman to marry” or “This is a woman to party with” is baffling. To hell with that.

I want to be ‘the marry’ and ‘the party’ woman,” she remarked. “Ladies, you don’t need no stinkin’ males for nothin’. Friends, and vibrating devices! Having homosexual buddies is better than having any other kind of husband. Have faith in me.” The performer had some advice for anyone curious about her romantic life: “Get a prenuptial agreement signed. Never mind what happens.”
