AKA Machine Gun Kelly, Colson Baker (born April 22, 1990), better known by his stage as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), is an American hip-hop artist, singer, musician, and actor. Hip hop and rock are two genres that he incorporates into his compositions.
Weaponry of the Machine Type Before signing with Bad Boy Records, Kelly dropped four mixtapes in the span of a few years. Wild Boy” and “Lace-up” were the hit singles from his debut album, which reached number four on the US Billboard 200 in 2012. (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). “Bad Things” (featuring Camila Cabello) debuted at number four on Billboard’s Hot 100 with his third album, Bloom (2017), which was followed by General Admission in 2015. With the follow-up Mainstream Sellout he enjoyed similar commercial success (2022).

A career in acting
Baker made his feature film debut in Beyond the Lights, a love drama about a “shallow, self-important” rapper named Kid Culprit, in which he starred. Co-staring with Nas, he also co-executive produced the 2016 drama film The Land, which takes place in Cleveland. That year, he appeared in a small role in Emma Roberts and Dave Franco’s techno-thriller adventure picture Nerve and appeared in the Showtime comedy-drama series Roadies as Wes, a former Pearl Jam roadie.
For his roles as Felix in Bird Box and Tommy Lee in The Dirt, a Netflix biographical comedy-drama about the Mötley Crüe band, he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
Next, he co-starred with Bruce Willis and Megan Fox in the murder thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass before joining Sam Worthington in the western action flick The Last Son. He’s also set to appear in the upcoming superhero feature Project Power alongside Jamie Foxx as Newt.
MGK’s Before and After
Inevitably, even the most promising young artists like Machine gun kelly change their appearances with time. It’s only his hair, however, that has some followers questioning his authenticity.
The first time he came onto the scene in 2010 he had bleached and short hair. His receding hairline can be seen in footage from the “Alice in Wonderland” film.
As of 2012, more skin was exposed. A new hairdo didn’t help his situation, as it just made things worse for the hair loss on his head’s sides and top.

A mohawk between 2012 and 2015 also made it impossible to detect whether he was concealing a receding hairline at the time.
MGK debuted a brand-new appearance for the new year. It was revealed by his man-bun hair, which had grown out around the top of his head.

In a now-deleted Instagram post from November 2019, MGK mentioned his hair for the first time. On the back of the card, he wrote, “Goodbye, hair.” In this capacity, I have none. lol. f***.” To prepare for an acting role, the rapper had to go bald.
But in February 2020, “The Blonde Don” was sporting a full head of hair once more.

On the blog Hair Dryer Fair, Machine Gun Kelly is said to have expressed his fear of losing his hair.
That’s why it seemed like he’d done something about it when he appeared with Fox at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. There was a noticeable increase in the volume of his unkempt bleached mop.

The public, on the other hand, may have noticed a little later than anticipated. Between 2014 and 2015, some hairstyle websites estimate that he had a hair transplant. There are images of MGK’s back of the head that show what appears to be a scar on his skull.
