As seen on Channel 4’s Gogglebox, Scarlett Sigourney Leigh Moffatt (born October 17, 1990) is a well-known English TV personality, presenter, and former ballroom dancer from County Durham. She became famous after winning the sixteenth season of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2016, and she has since made guest appearances on shows like Saturday Night Takeaway with Ant and Dec and the I’m a Celebrity companion show Extra Camp.
She and her family recently starred in a four-part Channel 4 documentary called The British Tribe Next Door, which followed them as they lived in a rural Namibian village.
Moffatt was cast in the new MTV series Beauty School Cop Outs on September 23rd, 2013. The show follows a group of young people from the United Kingdom and Ireland as they enroll in a beauty school in Manchester to hone their skills.
Moffatt and her parents, Mark and Betty, made their debut on the third season of the Channel 4 reality show Gogglebox in March of 2014. In the seventh season, Scarlett’s younger sister Ava-Grace joined the family on the couch, and in the eighth season, her then-boyfriend Luke Crodden made his debut.
In March of 2017, she and Luke broke up. Since appearing on I’m a Celebrity, Moffat has not returned to Gogglebox. Please, I need to leave this place immediately.
They first saw her on the 30th of November, 2015, when she became a member of the Capital Breakfast on Capital North East presenting team. Moffatt’s appearance on the sixteenth season of I’m a Celebrity… was announced on November 8th, 2016.
Scarlett reveals her own personal metamorphosis
Late in 2016, the reality star participated in the jungle portion of the show I’m a Celebrity. Get Me Out of Here! Scarlett shed three stones before entering the jungle, and she documented the process with a slew of Instagram posts documenting her weight loss.
At one point, she told her audience: “I’m inconsolable today; I can’t believe I’ve managed to shed two pounds of fat. Think of how proud you are. In all seriousness, if a full-time couch potato can do it, so can you.”
After losing weight, Scarlett Moffatt says she was “miserable”
Reportedly saying as much at a 2018 seminar for the Glamour Beauty Festival, Scarlett said she was unhappy with her new, slimmer body. After being crowned Queen of the Jungle, Scarlett spoke at her own body confidence seminar, where she was interviewed by her younger sister Ava, 13.
The Sun reports that Scarlett said, “When I first came out of the jungle I went through a stage where I felt like I had to try to look a certain way.” For a while, I was trying to shed my reputation as the quintessential Geordie girl. As for the WAG dresses, I gave up the fake tan and started wearing them instead.
“Nonetheless, I felt terrible inside. As for my eyelashes, I think it’s cool that they reach my forehead and are orange.”
Scarlett stated on Frankie Bridge’s Open Mind Podcast that she wished to gain weight after the DVD was released because she felt that her 700 calorie-a-day diet was “detrimental” to her mental health. She went on to call the extreme diet DVD the “worst thing I’ve ever done” and say she hoped her criticism would “stop people buying it.”
“I slowly realized it was quite detrimental to my mental health,” she said. As the star sheds its light, SuperSlimMe!, by Scarlett B. Plan
