Crews Elaborated in Another Tweet:

“Any Black person who labels me a coon or an Uncle Tom for supporting EQUALITY is a Black Supremacist since they have defined who is Black and who is not.”

Terry Crews claimed he was sorry “to anybody who was offended” by his tweets, which he called a “mistake,” and told Noah as much.

“As an African American man, a Black man in this society, I did not want to give the perception that we’re meant to gloss over and forgive the killing of George Floyd, the murder of George Floyd,” he stated.

The time has arrived for us to unite as a nation…. This is our home country. We fought for this, and I have no intention of giving it up. “This is what we’ve been left.”

Crews also shared some details about his personal life and the path to recovery he’s been on. What I really needed was quiet. My stamp of approval, I suppose.

Crews explained to Noah that he was struggling because he needed affirmation. The error was repeated, and it was a big one. Sending that tweet at that time was inexcusable.
