Halbrand is a feared fighter who is not averse to employing violence, and he is also a thief. Furthermore, he lies not to remain anonymous but for financial advantage. He’s sly and crafty and can manipulate people to do his bidding.

Like Morgoth before him, Halbrand from The Lord of the Rings uses his silver tongue to deceive people. Unfortunately, he hasn’t put any of his talents to good use yet. Yes, he did consent to fight alongside Galadriel, but until we learn more about him, we can’t be convinced that his motivations for leaving Nmenor and joining the fight for the Southlands are good.
