It has been announced that later this year, Dave Grohl will perform a solo set at Joe Walsh’s ‘VetsAid’ benefit concert for veterans. On November 13 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, the lead singer of the Foo Fighters will be a “special guest.” Nine Inch Nails, The Black Keys, and The Breeders will also be performing alongside him.
The show’s headlining act will be Walsh’s band James Gang, which will reunite after more than 15 years apart with original members Jim Fox on drums and Dale Peters on bass. One final tip is how their reunion performance is being promoted.

Who is Joe Walsh?
Joseph Fidler Walsh is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter who was born on November 20, 1947. Over the course of a career spanning more than half a century, he has contributed to three iconic rock groups: the James Gang, the Eagles, and Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band. In addition, he played in the New Zealand band Herbs. He participated in the short-lived supergroup The Best in the 1990s.

Early Life
On November 20, 1947, in Wichita, Kansas, Joseph Fidler Walsh entered this world. While serving in the United States Air Force, his father, Lt. Robert Newton Fidler, was a flying instructor for the Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star. He was killed in a plane crash over Okinawa on July 22, 1949. Walsh’s mother was a concert-level pianist of Scottish and German descent. At the age of five, Walsh’s stepfather adopted him and gave him his surname, but he kept his middle name, Fidler. For identification purposes like Social Security, school enrollment, and medical records, it was customary for children in the 1950s to adopt their stepfather’s last name.
Early in Walsh’s life, he and his family made their home in Columbus, Ohio. They uprooted to the Big Apple when he was twelve. Moving to Montclair, New Jersey, Walsh enrolled at Montclair High School and became an oboe player in the school band.

Joe has four spouses and as a result, he has eight children. Lucy Walsh, Emma Kristen Walsh, Emerson Walsh, and Alden Walsh are all members of the Walsh family. Emma Kristen Walsh, one of his daughters, was killed in a car crash.
