Austin Richard Post (born July 4, 1995), better known by his stage name, Post Malone, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from the state of Alabama. Malone has been widely praised for his ability to fuse pop, R&B, hip hop, and trap into a single song. Using a rap monicker generator, he came up with his moniker as a stage name for himself.

Malone began his music career in 2013, and his breakthrough single, “White Iverson,” which peaked at number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2015, helped launch his career. After signing a contract with Republic Records, Malone released his debut studio album Stoney (2016), which includes the diamond hit “Congratulations” and set the record for most weeks (77) on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums list. Topping the US Billboard 200 in its first week of release, Malone’s follow-up album Beerbongs & Bentleys (2018) broke numerous streaming records. Additionally, it featured the number-one Hot 100 singles “Rockstar” and “Psycho,” and was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

‘Sunflower,’ his third No. 1 song, was featured on his third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding (2019), which also happened to be his second No. 1 album. It was a promotional and lead single for the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) soundtrack and was included on Malone’s third album. At no. 1, it spent the most weeks ever (39) in the Hot 100 top ten with its second song, “Circles.” Twelve Carat Toothache, his next album, will be released in June of 2022, according to his plan.

His latest song cooped with roddy ricch released on 18 May 2022.

Life in the earliest years

On July 4, 1995, Malone was born in Syracuse, New York.

he was reared by his father, Richard Post, and his mother-in-law Jodie. When Malone was a kid, his dad used to be a DJ, and so Malone was exposed to a wide range of music, from hip-hop to country. In Grapevine, Texas, when Malone was nine years old, his father became the manager of concessions for the Dallas Cowboys, and the family relocated there. In 2010 Malone started playing guitar, and he auditioned with Crown The Empire, but his guitar strings broke during the audition and he was denied. The video game Guitar Hero sparked his interest in playing the guitar, he said.

After that, he claims, he moved on to softer rock and hip hop, before beginning to play around with FL Studio.

Post Malone clarifies controversial “DON’T LISTEN TO HIP HOP” remarks

“If you’re looking for lyrics,” “if you’re wanting to cry,” “if you’re looking to ponder about life,” Post Malone said earlier this week in an interview with Polish media. He has now produced a video on Twitter addressing the topic.

Post has since addressed the statement with a Twitter video, saying, “Apparently there’s a lot of people saying that I don’t love hip hop or that hip hop has never made me feel anything and I’m referring to this interview I did in Poland while I was on the European tour.”

A “beer-tasting interview” provided Post Malone with the answers to his questions, he says, and “of course” he had been drinking before answering the question.

When I said, “When you want to feel anything, don’t listen to Hip Hop,” I was joking, because who the fuck am I to tell you, “Don’t listen to this,” and whenever you want to feel something, “Don’t listen to this.”

In other words, when I want to sit down and cry, I listen to Bob Dylan and his guitar,” the 22-year-old stated. There will come a time in everyone’s life, no matter how hard they work, no matter where they come from when they sit back and reflect on their own life. What I think of when I think of Bob Dylan is this:

“My last Hip Hop album was fucking Hip Hop. My upcoming Hip Hop album is fucking Hip Hop. I love Hip Hop. I make Hip Hop.” That’s how the “White Iverson” rapper responded to charges that he’s exploiting Hip Hop. It is my goal to push the boundaries of this genre and entice new listeners who may not have previously been interested.

The only item in contention was Post’s claim that several rappers are expressing the same thing. While there are a few artists expressing themselves with originality, the majority of individuals are merely repeating the same cliches. I never said I didn’t appreciate Hip Hop. Just making the songs that I enjoy.”

Six weeks in a row, Malone’s duet with 21 Savage on “Rockstar” has topped Billboard’s Hot 100, and his Stoney album is presently No. 4 on the Billboard 200 after 49 weeks of sales.
