Within the context of a 2001 BBC program titled Middle Classes: Their Rise and Sprawl, Sunak discussed his privileged background and aristocratic ties. He said his buddies were of the upper class and aristocracy. However, he lacked any “working class” acquaintances.

According to Sunak, he would occasionally shake things up by visiting an urban public high school to give a speech in which he would inspire kids to go to Oxford and discuss the experiences of people like himself.

2. Non-Resident Spouse

His wife, Akshata Murty, is the daughter of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and reportedly paid 30,000 pounds each year to keep her non-domicile status, exempting her from the UK’s tax restrictions on foreign income. This was published in early 2022. Because of public outcry, she was forced to renounce her non-domiciliary status.
