On Pandora, Jake Sully has built a new family with the people he met there. To ensure the safety of the Na’vi race, Jake and Neytiri must work together as a team as an old foe returns to complete what it began.

Is it really worth it to put our eyes through the meat grinder once again for Avatar: The Way of Water’s debut trailer?

To our knowledge, time travel does not exist in the Avatar world, which is strange considering this week’s industry reports on the first trailer screening of the newly named Avatar: The Way of Water had a definite fragrance of 2009. The outstanding 3D and high frame rate of the movie, which 20th Century Fox and Disney will roll out throughout the world when it eventually reaches multiplexes in December, impressed attendees at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

When the first Avatar came out, it seemed like the whole film industry was going to embark on a dramatic adventure into high-end stereoscopy and increased frame rates. You’d think it had only been a few years. Unfortunately for Hollywood, it has been more than a decade since we last saw Jake Sully and his Navi allies on the silver screen. When was the last time you were enthralled by this stuff?

Avatar: The Way of Water Trailer First Look: 4 Leaked Images

Images supposedly from the forthcoming Avatar: The Way of Water trailer have been released by Redditor u/elrincondestructor. Until a week following the film’s premiere, the trailer would only be shown in theatres alongside Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. For obvious reasons, there are plot spoilers, so take that into consideration before reading any further.

It seems that Jake Sully and Neytiri, as well as a pregnant Na’vi (Neytiri?) and a squad of Na’vi, are among the figures seen in these photographs.

There are some nice lighting and shadow effects in the photographs, but you can obtain comparable ray-traced effects in a lot of games now. Although we’ve just seen a single leaked picture of the game’s underwater visuals, we may still hope to be surprised.

The Way of Water” is Avatar’s official synopsis.

To continue the tale of the Sully family more than a decade later, Avatar: The Way Of Water starts to speak of the hardship that follows them, as well as how far they go to keep each other safe and how hard they struggle to remain alive in the face of adversity.

James Cameron will helm Avatar: The Way of Water. It has a stellar cast led by Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington, including Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore and CCH Pounder, as well as Edie Falco, Giovanni Ribisi and CCH Pounder.

Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel to Avatar, is set to reassert our love for Pandora’s bizarre fauna and vegetation.

Now, we’re informed we’ll be visiting a coastal Na’vi tribe where we’ll meet a variety of new aquatic species, many of which have swishy USB-compatible tails to link to Jake and Neytiri. I hope we’ll also learn how Sigourney Weaver’s Dr. Grace Augustine and baddie Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang) survived the last film. The reason why Kate Winslet had to learn how to hold her breath for seven minutes while portraying a Na’vi using motion capture on Pandora may even be revealed to us. Every little detail will come together beautifully.

Will the 3D/high frame-rate revolution be re-ignited as a result? This is about as likely as Quaritch returning as a sentient tree, so let’s face it. In contrast, in this universe, Gaia is a tree that can be summoned anytime you want to talk about the weather, as well as a planet in which mountains float. There have been stranger occurrences.
