ratched season 2

When the first season of Ratched premiered in 2020, it helped distract us from current events with Sarah Paulson’s creepy take on the One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest character. 48 million Netflix subscribers tuned in after its debut. We’re left with a cliffhanger at the end of the first season, and now we’re left wondering when we’ll see Ratched again. Murphy and Evan Romansky have been quiet about what’s in store for the characters we met at Lucia State Hospital, but to spare you from searching the web, we’ve compiled all the information we know so far regarding the highly-anticipated second series of Murphy’s Law. Nurse Ratched is ready to take on her next patient, so sit back and relax.

Has Netflix announced a release date for “Ratched” Season 2?

Netflix has yet to set a release date for the second season of ‘Ratched’. This season is expected to be released in the latter part of 2022, though. Production on the show must begin and be completed by the end of July in order for it to happen.

The cast of Ratched Season 2

We couldn’t have our leading lady, Sarah Paulson, in Ratched without her.

As Edmund Tolleson, Edmund Tolleson’s deranged brother, Cynthia Nixon will very definitely repeat her role as Gwendolyn Briggs, her lover, and attorney.

It has been reported that Sophie Okonedo would reprise her role as Charlotte in the upcoming season, along with Brandon Flynn, Judy Davis, Amanda Plummer, and Vincent D’Onofrio.

As of yet, no new cast members have been announced, but Lucia State may get new patients in the future.

A second season of the show has been ordered by Netflix, the OTT powerhouse. In contrast, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Netflix had already planned to order a second season of the show at its original pitch.

A two-season, 18-episode order for “Ratched,” according to The Hollywood Reporter, has been placed. This suggests that the second season will have at least ten episodes. Is There any Trailer?

Netflix releases new episodes on a regular basis in order to keep up with demand. Netflix Seasons one through seven of Orange Is the New Black premiered in June and July. The first and third seasons of Stranger Things premiered in July and October, respectively. In its first run, the first several seasons of House of Cards aired during the month of February. On the other hand, it’s plausible to expect Ratched to return in September 2021.

With industrial shutdowns and delays expected to continue until next year, the series’ return might be delayed. The return to work of the Ratched cast and crew could push the release of new episodes beyond next winter or even early 2022.

When production schedules return to normal, Ratched and other series should be able to maintain regular release dates. Until then, fans can only hope for a Season 2 launch.
