Letterkenny, a Canadian sitcom, has been commissioned for up to 11 seasons, indicating that it was an unexpected hit. This makes it one of the longest-running sitcoms in history, with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Modern Family, and other shows.
The show, which began as a YouTube sketch with the creators joking around and swapping hilarious one-liners, has grown into a full-fledged commissioned television series. The season has 6 to 7 30-minute episodes, making it fun to binge-watch the show.
With the tenth and eleventh seasons both being announced and shot at the same time, it’s only a matter of time. The 5,000 residents of Letterkenny, together with their issues, may return to the small town.
Season 11 premiere date for Letterkenny
Thankfully, because the tenth and eleventh seasons are being shot at the same time, we know the new season will be out soon. On the 26th of December 2021, we received the tenth season, as well as a Letterkenny special three days before writing this piece.
Letterkenny Season 11 is expected to premiere on September 23, 2022, owing to the lighthearted nature of the show. However, given the recent release of the tenth season, we shouldn’t hold our breath and should instead wait for the eleventh season to be announced.

The plot of Season 11 of Letterkenny
Season 10 concludes with the Hicks driving about town, inebriated and calling each other fabricated names. They eventually persuade the Skids and the hockey players to join them in picking stones as the rest of Letterkenny goes about its business. Aly and Bianca, too, have left the hockey players in pursuit of better possibilities.
Outside of Letterkenny, the Hicks may confront “difficult individuals” in Season 11. Dierks’ muscular (but naive) city kin could be involved again, or a new gang could form.
Because of Marie Fred’s arrival in season 10, we can expect to see more of the French Canadians and their rivalry with the English Canadians in future seasons.
We should expect a little trouble in paradise in our hero’s personal life, given Wayne and Rosie’s recent success.
Letterkenny is set in the same-named small Canadian town, and each episode starts with the same text: “Letterkenny has a population of 5000 people.” This is the nature of their problems.” With the help of Wayne’s friends Daryl and Squirrely Dan, Wayne and Katy run a small farm and food market.
Episodes on small-town life feature the “hicks,” out-of-towners who make up the local ice hockey team, the town’s closeted pastor, drug addicts (the “skids”), and residents of the adjacent First Nation reserve (the “natives”), local Mennonites, and Québécois. Wayne’s dating life after dumping his high school girlfriend who cheated on him, the exploits of the town’s hockey team, the skids’ attempts to defraud both Letterkenny residents and locals, and Wayne’s dating life after dumping his high school girlfriend who cheated on him are all common plot points.
Season 11 Trailer (Letterkenny)
Given that the tenth and eleventh seasons were shot concurrently, the lack of a trailer for the eleventh season, even after the tenth, is remarkable. It would have been a great surprise for the show’s viewers to keep them looking forward to the new season.
However, because they have already promised a new season, we can anticipate seeing the teaser later this year, around May or June, a month or two before the new season is released.
Most of us don’t have the time or patience to sit through thirty-plus minutes of pointless filler over the course of ten or eleven seasons, so a show as light and entertaining as Letterkenny should appeal to those of us who don’t have the time or patience to sit through ten or eleven seasons of pointless filler. This is something to keep an eye out for if you’re searching for something quick and entertaining.
