New Mexico is in a fantastic financial position, and to share the success with New Mexicans by giving tax rebates

All qualified taxpayers of the state who filed their 2021 taxes are eligible to receive tax rebates. Single filers will receive $500, and married couples will receive up to $1,000. The tax rebates can be delivered via direct deposit. The rest will be issued through checks between June 20 and 29,2023.

New Mexico Governor praised the tax rebates and said it was a personal priority for her. The prices for necessities continue to be high, and the tax rebates they will receive will help them even in a little way.

New Mexico Taxpayers who changed their address since filing their 2021 tax rebates can update their new residence address using the Taxpayer Access Point self-service portal on Taxation and Revenue Department website. Taxpayers could change their address by submitting a form to the office.

New Mexico still has a chance to receive tax rebates

Taxpayers who have changed their banking information get their tax rebates through a check in the mail.

Taxpayers who did not file their 2021 returns still have time to file; the deadline is on May 31, 2024.
