Here is a list of public pools opened during summer in New York City from late June to September:


  • Astoria Pool – The largest pool in New York City. Located at 19th Street & 23rd Drive, Queens, this public pool offers a variety of majestic views of the Hell Gate Bridge, Triborough Bridge, and Manhattan.
  • Pop-up Pool – Another pool with a perfect view of Manhattan is located at 150 Furman St, near Brooklyn Bridge. For people who love to get that perfect tan, they also have a man-made beach just for sunbathing.
  • Lasker Pool – Offers free swimming lessons for both children and adults located in the heart of Central Park

  1. Gawk at the Might of Niagara Falls

And voila, wait for your assigned kayak and paddle through the big outdoors.

Just make sure you bring an extra change of clothes fit for the summer in New York City.
