Aamir Liaquat Hussain (July 5, 1971 – June 9, 2022; Urdu: ) was a Pakistani politician, columnist, and television host. Hussain was a top-ranking TV anchor who was named three times among the world’s 500 most influential Muslims and one of Pakistan’s 100 most popular celebrities. He was repeatedly chastised in the media for his inflammatory comments on celebrities. From August 2018 until October 2021, he was a member of Pakistan’s National Assembly before resigning from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

The Guardian revealed in 2003 that this institution was a hoax where you could acquire a degree for as little as £150 in as little as 28 days. In 2005, the University of Karachi declared his BA degree to be forged. Hussain revealed his BA degree to the Pakistani Election Commission when he filed his candidacy papers for the 2002 general elections. Police, on the other hand, denied that Hussain was manhandled and claimed that the mob had just sung slogans. Hussain served as Minister of State for Religious Affairs until July 2007, when his party urged him to quit both his ministerial position and his National Assembly membership.
