Netflix is gearing up to premiere You Season 4 after a fantastic run of three seasons. On March 22, 2022, production on the fourth season of You officially began. Joe Goldberg, the character played by Penn Badgley in You Season 4, has already been confirmed by Netflix.
The production of You Season 4 episodes has finally begun after a long delay. What you should know about You season 4 is detailed below.
‘You’ is an American television series based on Caroline Kepnes’ books. Producers Alloy Entertainment and A+E Studios collaborate with Warner Horizon Television, now known as Warner Bros. Television, on the show’s development and production.
Ahead of the third season’s release in October 2021, Netflix confirmed this.
When will You Season 4 be available?
Although Netflix and the production firm haven’t announced a release date for You season 4, we can make an educated guess. Season 1 premiered on September 9th, 2018, and Season 2 premiered on December 26th, 2019. The third season was renewed in December 2020, but production was postponed until February 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. On October 20, 2021, You Season 3 was released.
It is now possible that fresh episodes of You Season 4 will be released before Christmas in 2022.
You Season 4 Plot
While Joe was in Paris looking for Marianne (Tati Gabrielle), we also saw him in France. In You Season 4, Marianne may appear, but Netflix has not confirmed her comeback.
The Wrap spoke with Gabrielle about what she thinks will happen if Marienne returns, and she said: “There is absolutely no chance that Marienne would return to Joe. Though, I’m sure she’d give him a chance to talk.
As a result of the fact that, once again, her heart was messed with Moreover, I believe that for her own rehabilitation, she requires a face-to-face conversation with him. Her mind will be at ease, and I believe it will… I’d also like Marienne to publicly humiliate Joe. That’s what I desire. Just yes, please.”
Joe and Love Quinn have a baby son, Henry, and live in Madre Linda, a fictitious suburb in California. It’s a new chapter in their relationship. Joe’s obsession with the next-door neighbor, Natalie Engler, is growing stronger by the day. “No more awful things ever again,” Joe promises himself in Season 3.
When Joe finally meets her, “I think he will live happily ever after and have beautiful babies,” Penn Badgley stated to TVLine. Their children will attend Swedish schools and their son will become fluent in French. They will also spend a lot of time near the Seine.
He also stated that Joe’s character will not change in Season 4.
“That’s not the case, in my opinion. To heal and transform, a person who is so severely afflicted by mental illness, trauma, and abuse must overcome a formidable obstacle: I’m not sure if it’s conceivable for a person who has gone that far back in time.”
