On 6th January,Trump Is Said to Have Responded Positively to Chants of Hanging Pence
President Trump appeared to back protesters yelling, “Hang Mike Pence!,” according to a former White House aide. Witnesses reported in a news source on Wednesday said that on Jan. 6, 2021, when they rushed the Capitol, they heard gunfire.”
Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows was described by two witnesses to the House committee investigating the Capitol attack as claiming that Vice President Pence was being transported to safety when the mob stormed the building, the New York Times reports based on interviews with the witnesses.
According to witnesses cited in the paper, Trump “said something to the effect of, maybe Mr. Pence should be hung,” leaving Meadows in a dining room off the Oval Office.

According to a report in the New York Times
At least one unidentified witness first notified the committee about the story. According to the New York Times, a second witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, a former Meadows assistant present when Trump recalled his statement, confirmed the narrative.
Meadows used the fireplace in his office to dispose of documents, according to a report in the newspaper.
There was no quick response from either the committee or Meadows’ lawyer to a request for comment.
One of President Trump’s closest allies, Taylor Budowich, said that the article is the result of a biassed, untrue study.
What according to Budowich About Hanging Pence?
“The imprecise ‘leaks,’ anonymous testimony, and propensity to falsify evidence suggest that this political committee is just an extension of the Democrat smear campaign that has been exposed time and time again for being contrived and dishonest.” There is just one thing the Democrats have to give: falsehoods and charades. The American people are sick of it, but that’s all they have to offer.”
After months of research, a report has been released by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. The panel is trying to piece together the day’s events in Congress and the White House minute-by-minute.
As Senate president, Pence was in charge of the vote count. In addition, he was a crucial player in Trump’s plot to change the 2020 election by rejecting electoral votes from seven states that were contested. Pence, on the other hand, was adamant in his refusal.
A gallows was built outside the Capitol by protesters. The mob yelled, “Hang Mike Pence!” as they ransacked the premises, inflicting injuries on 140 officers in the process.
During the time that the count was halted, officers of the Secret Service relocated Pence to an underground garage. President Joe Biden’s victory was verified after Pence, who was unharmed, continued supervising the vote count.
Meadows originally cooperated with the committee by giving texts and other documents. A committee subpoena was issued, and he refused it and launched a suit in federal court to prevent the committee from obtaining his phone data.
The House of Representatives voted to hold him in contempt. No decision has been made by the Justice Department about criminal contempt charges.
Committee members were given a trove of text messages from Meadows in which Republican lawmakers expressed their fear about the incident and discussed the possibility of martial law.
