Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to sign a versatile left-sided defender before the start of next season.

As of now, it appears like Arsenal has taken the lead in the fight for the signature of the Scotland national team’s captain. On the basis of CalcioNapoli24.it’s claims, the two clubs have agreed on a transfer cost of £21 million. Claims have been made that Riccardo Bigon, Bologna’s sporting director, recently traveled to London to meet with the Arsenal. Finally, a deal was reached for the player as a result of those negotiations.
