It was the Israeli television series Kvodo that inspired Your Honor. Showtime will debut the film on December 6th, 2020. According to the show’s website, the second season will air in August 2021.

A New Orleans organized crime boss’s son, Hunter Doohan’s Adam Desiato, is implicated in a hit-and-run that results in the death of one of the family’s leaders’ children.
Gina Baxter, played by Keke Palmer, will return in the rebooted series.
A character in the story named Frannie Latimer is also pursuing a career as an art dealer. They’re both parts of “the Unemployed,” a gang of alcoholics without jobs.
Benjamin “Benjy” Figaro, Michael’s best friend, is a politician with connections to the mob.
Finally, “The Irishman,” tells the story of infamous New York City gangster Frank Costello, who commanded the city’s organized crime in the 1950s and 1960s. Danny Greene (Stuhlbarg), a con artist, maybe more to blame for his demise than anyone else in the film.
A former protege of Michael’s, Carmen Ejogo plays Lee Delamere, the lawyer Michael persuades to take Kofi’s case.

What Is The Narrative Of Your Honor?
One of the sons of a well-known New Orleans judge accidentally kills another young person in a hit-and-run tragedy. Bryan Cranston’s portrayal of Michael Desiato in New Orleans paints him as a hopeless parent.
As soon as he learns that the victim was in fact the son of a local mafia boss, the judge changes his mind about turning himself into the authorities. “Adam Desiato” is a cheerful drama about a parent striving to do the right thing for his adolescent son.
In another hit-and-run tragedy, Adam is responsible for the death of yet another teen. Devastating consequences result from the judge’s efforts to hide evidence. For the time being, that is the way things are!
Season 2’s synopsis is, alas, unavailable at this time. When Season 9 begins, we’ll see Michael learn of his son’s death shortly after the conclusion of Season 8.
