A 35-year-old Sierra Vista man arrested identified as Jay Joseph Cruz Santos was accused of attempting to have sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl by sending and requesting illicit photos from her, wherein the Sierra Vista man arrested tried his best to lure the teenager.
According to a report published in KGUN 9, authorities received a report from the victim’s father about the Sierra Vista man arrested attempting to have sexual relations with his daughter after he found her trying to leave at night to meet the Sierra Vista man arrested.
During the investigation, authorities discovered inappropriate photos sent by the Sierra Vista man arrested in the 16-year-old victim’s phone, and they immediately identified the Sierra Vista man arrested as he was using his name and photos in his account.
Sierra Vista Man Arrested Faces Multiple Charges After Trying to Lure 16-Year-Old Girl in Sexual Relations
During the investigation, authorities posed as the victim and contacted the Sierra Vista man arrested, who was caught after proposing to meet at night in a mall, expecting the 16-year-old girl to come, not authorities.
The Sierra Vista man arrested faced multiple charges, including sexual exploitation, after trying to have sexual relations with the 16-year-old girl and sending and requesting inappropriate photos from her, Herald/Review reported.
